Yuneec Breeze Drone vs. Yuneec Typhoon H Drone

Yuneec's Breeze drone is the company's first product geared toward the mass market. Here's how the Breeze drone compares to Yuneec's flagship Typhoon H drone.

Yuneec just released its first drone targeting the mass market with the $499 Yuneec Breeze drone. Yuneec cut down on costs by opting to use smartphones (iOS and Android) as the controllers instead of having a dedicated remote control.

So the Yuneec Breeze drone is completely controlled with the Breeze Cam mobile app, offering several flight modes - Selfie, Follow Me, Orbit, Journey and Pilot—that will work both indoors or outdoors with the help of GPS and optical sensors.

The Breeze Cam mobile app also allows users to instantly share aerial photos and videos on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and WhatsApp.

“With the popularity of selfies at an all-time high, we set out to create the ultimate, user-friendly flying camera which allows people to take their photos to new heights,” says Tian Yu, CEO of Yuneec International.

Again, this is Yuneec’s first foray into the mass market. The company’s previous drones target the prosumer, so Yuneec hopes the Breeze will remove “the intimidation of flying, while still providing the creative solutions consumers want to capture unique perspectives of their daily lives.”

So how exactly does the Yuneec Breeze drone differ from the company’s flagship Yuneec Typhoon H drone? We put together this handy comparison chart to show just that.
